Went to the Night Jar yesterday. Cocktails are very good. Food is very disappointing £12 for a few slices of cheese and a couple of crackers. A couple of our party couldn't make it, but we were still charged even tho we were only there for about an hour before the live music started. Expensive and wouldn't go there again, a view shared by all our party of 14.

I think the photos don't really make justice, as Nightjar is actually larger and with an even nicer atmosphere than what might show in the pics. Very good place for a date, we went in the early evening timeslot (i.e. no live music). We had one cocktail each, although it was very hard to choose from a menu full of super interesting cocktails with lots of different flavors and ingredients. Loved the attention to details and the study behind each cocktail, from the glass shape to the presentation.
The service was impeccable: they replied promptly by email when I asked to change (twice) the time of my reservation, and the waitress who served us was very professional even when communicating how much time we had before we had to leave the table (they have different timeslots with different cover charges, depending on whether there's live music or not, which is fair). Will very likely be back for some live music as well!!

Been going here for years. Wonderful staff and amazing menu. You can't go wrong. Although, I'll always recommend the Toronto.

One waiter with short hair was great, the other was terrible, threw my things to another table and pointed at me to sit on the other side, this behavior was rude and impolite, I did not want to go again, this comment has more than two thousand and has popularity, it does not feel so good, the place is small, and forced to charge a service fee!Never again

I spent my birthday here with my friends, the vibe is so nice and chill, the waiter sang happy birthday song to me with my friends, and when we wanted to order a cake he said he already prepared one for us. That’s such a lovely surprise. The evening is magic and the live song is the most romantic. Definitely recommend to spend a special day here

I recently visited Shoreditch and decided to check out this well-known venue. I’ve never been a huge fan of jazz, but the musicians here really impressed me. Their performance was engaging and full of energy, and I found myself enjoying it much more than I expected.
I had a great time, and my non-alcoholic cocktail was both tasty and creative. A big thank you to the musicians for the wonderful music and to the staff for their friendly and attentive service.
I truly enjoyed my evening and would recommend this place to anyone looking for good music and a welcoming atmosphere.
